THIRD ANNUAL MASQUED BALL | 28 FEBRUARY 2009
The Masqued Ball is a weekend of enchantment created annually
as a celebration of our inherent inspiration, divinity and
fantasy. Gather your masks and cloaks; brighten your hearts,
journey into possibilities.
An outdoor electronic music and psychedelic arts festival,
the Masqued Ball, provides a platform for freedom, interaction,
exchange and artistic expression, bringing together people
from all walks of life as one.
Known for its slick production and cutting edge local and
international acts, the event strives to promote awareness,
conscious lifestyles, positivity.
An event of playful abandon aimed at all merry pranksters and revelers...

Same venue as Second Annual Masqued Ball in 2008.
Directions
- Take the N1 to Paarl
- Take the Klapmuts / Wellington R44 off ramp
- Turn right towards Klapmuts / Stellenbosch
- Follow the signs
15 km outside Stellenbosch
Facilities
Apart from the kick ass and state of the art 48 speaker Nexo sound rig, the event will feature a shaded dance floor, camping, a mammoth dam for swimming, tons of exotic food stalls, a bar, even a craft market and lush, green pastures for chilling.
Decor
Decor delights such as backdrops, sculptures and installations are provided by Cape Town legend, Buffy Braveart and his team. Shadecloth and tented structures are provided by Blaise.

- Applications for stall bookings must be in by 19 February 2008.
The number of stalls is limited based on the venue size and the types of food and merchandise sold. Preference will be given to our regular supporters. It is expected that stall holders make every effort to become part of the event décor and design, making the stall as beautiful as possible, harmonizing with the space and environment and, in addition, embracing sustainable solutions and practices.

The Masqued Ball strongly promotes green environmentally friendly initiatives and aims to be a sustainable event. All refuse is recycled by Mr. Recycle , biofuel generators are used, compostable packaging is used. Glass will be confiscated. Decant into plastic containers
